Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using CompressInKB you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. The tools are offered free of charge and without any requirement to register.

2. What the service is

CompressInKB provides browser-based utilities for converting, compressing and resizing files, and for performing calculations. All processing takes place on your own device. We do not receive, store, review or transmit your files, and we have no ability to access them.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site to:

• process material that is unlawful in your jurisdiction, including material that infringes copyright, or that you do not have the right to modify;
• process documents you are not authorised to handle, including other people's identity documents, without their consent;
• attempt to interfere with the availability or integrity of the site, including automated scraping at a volume that degrades service for others;
• present the output of these tools as certified, official or government-issued documents. Every output file is a tool result, not a certification.

4. No warranty on output

Compression is lossy by design and resizing changes geometry. You are responsible for checking that a file produced here meets the requirements of the portal, authority or client you are sending it to, and for keeping a copy of your original. We make no warranty that a produced file will be accepted by any third party.

Calculator results are estimates based on the inputs you supply and, for tax and financial tools, on slab and rate data recorded at a stated date. They are not financial, tax, legal or medical advice. See the Disclaimer for detail.

5. Specifications and recorded data

Exam photo and signature specifications, passport photo standards, tax slabs and similar reference data are recorded from the issuing authority's published material. Authorities revise these without notice. The authoritative document is always the official notification, not this site. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any examining body, passport authority, bank or government department.

6. Document specifications and confidence labels

Document-resizer pages distinguish portal-published requirements, cross-checked specifications and planning presets. A planning preset is a practical target where no universal digital specification exists; it is not a representation that an authority mandates those dimensions. An output file is never an official document, certificate, approval or guarantee of acceptance.

7. Intellectual property

The site's code, design, and written content are owned by CompressInKB and protected by copyright. You may use the tools for any lawful personal or commercial purpose, and the files you process and produce are entirely yours — we claim no rights over them, because we never receive them. You may quote or cite our written guides with attribution and a link.

8. Availability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. There is no uptime commitment, no service-level agreement, and no support obligation. Features may change or be withdrawn at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CompressInKB is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site, including missed application deadlines, rejected submissions, loss of data where no original copy was kept, or decisions taken on the basis of a calculator result. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Third-party services

If advertising is displayed, it is served by Google and its partners under their own terms and privacy policies, and only after you have granted consent. See the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top of the page will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions go to the contact page.
